CF Benchmarks, a subsidiary of Kraken's parent company Payward, has launched CFB Oracle, a service designed to bring Wall Street's pricing infrastructure to blockchain networks to support decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. The service will provide benchmark data for cryptocurrencies, equities, bonds, commodities, and currencies, which are currently used by BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF and CME Group's crypto futures products. Through CFB Oracle, developers can build on-chain index funds, tokenized portfolios, and derivatives without having to develop their own pricing systems. The service is already live on Ethereum, HyperEVM, and Robinhood Chain, with plans to support more compatible networks.
