Palestinian-Israeli citizens actively voted during the Israeli general election, aiming to preserve their existing rights in Israel, despite human rights organizations deeming these rights restricted.

The vote faced multiple challenges: right-wing parties deployed 2,000 armed observers in Palestinian-Israeli towns, a move seen as provocative; Arab-Israeli leaders complained that some ballots were not provided in both Arabic and Hebrew as legally required; and right-wing leaders incited claims of high Arab voter turnout.

Nevertheless, Palestinian-Israeli citizens cast a record number of votes, with new groups such as Bedouin women actively participating.
