Robinhood migrates to blockchain infrastructure, adopts Ripple USD
Ripple President Monica Long explained that Robinhood chose Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoin as a key settlement tool due to growing market demand for integrated solutions. Robinhood is fully migrating its global operations and back-office systems, serving 28.6 million investors, to blockchain infrastructure. This includes RLUSD settlement on the XRP Ledger, Ripple Treasury Management, and Ripple Prime services providing credit support to Bitstamp for its upcoming perpetual futures trading. RLUSD has surpassed $2.4 billion in market capitalization since its launch in December 2024.
