The Financial Services Commission (FSC) held its seventh meeting on propelling a transition to inclusive finance, where officials discussed plans to introduce a comprehensive evaluation system for financial companies and ways to bolster the management of non-performing loans (NPLs) by public financial institutions. The new evaluation system for inclusive finance will apply to 17 domestic banks, categorized into three groups, and will be expanded to the non-banking sector next year. Evaluation results for this year will be published in March next year, with incentives and penalties taking effect from the next evaluation cycle.
