U.S. House Oversight Committee Chairman Comer Investigates Delaware AI Company's Plans, Concerned About Liability Exemptions
U.S. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is investigating a Delaware initiative to create a new type of corporate entity, the AI Corporation (AIC), which would be run by AI agents. Comer warned that the proposal could shield AI companies and their investors from liability for damages caused by AI agents, and has demanded that the Governor of Delaware submit relevant documents and communications, including internal AI chat logs, by November 9 to assess its impact on federal legislation.
