Franklin Templeton officially launches two Bitcoin DRIP ETFs, FBEQ and FIBT.
Franklin Templeton has officially launched FBEQ and FIBT, two Bitcoin DRIP ETFs, both trading on Nasdaq. These ETFs aim to convert dividends paid by large US companies into gradually increasing Bitcoin exposure. FBEQ tracks the VettaFi US Large Cap 500 Bitcoin DRIP Index, with an initial allocation of 95% equities and 5% Bitcoin exposure. Each regular or special dividend paid by component companies will be reinvested in Bitcoin at market open on the ex-dividend date. FBEQ does not directly hold Bitcoin on-chain but gains exposure through Bitcoin exchange-traded products, futures and options, or depositary receipts, with an expense ratio of 0.09%.
