The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) launched its Tokenization Service on October 28, enabling 20 participating institutions to move tokenized securities between registered wallets 24/7. The service supports 34 types of securities, including select Russell 1000 equities, exchange-traded funds, and US Treasuries. Conversion orders through its interface and API are limited to business days from 2 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern time, with a target completion within 15 minutes. The initial connections are via Canton Network and its private Besu network.
