UKMTO: Tanker attacked with explosive devices in Strait of Hormuz, crew safe
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that a tanker was attacked with two explosive devices in the Strait of Hormuz, causing a fire in the engine room and temporarily disabling the vessel. The fire has since been extinguished, the crew is safe, and the tanker is continuing to its next port of call with no environmental impact. Authorities are investigating the incident.
