The Bank of Japan (BOJ) has decided to accelerate its ETF sales, more than doubling the pace set in January. As of October 20, the BOJ held ETFs with a book value of $228.3 billion. This accelerated selling means the time required to liquidate its holdings will be reduced from 112 years to 43 years.
