China has denied espionage allegations against NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, calling U.S. intelligence officials' belief that a Chinese businesswoman was collecting NVIDIA information for Beijing "groundless speculation." According to The New York Times, U.S. intelligence officials believe Alice Wang, a Chinese businesswoman linked to Singaporean data center company Megaspeed, was collecting NVIDIA information for Beijing. NVIDIA stated that Huang's interactions with Alice Wang were routine business dealings and did not involve sensitive trade secrets or national security information. Beijing, in turn, accused Washington of attempting to smear China.
