Investigations show Russian satellites assisted Houthi attacks on Saudi energy facilities; Saudi officials confirm Houthis received intelligence support from Russia and China.
An investigation by AURORAH GeoSignal Intelligence, a private company based in Geneva, revealed that Russian satellites are assisting Iran-aligned Houthi rebels in attacking Saudi Arabia's military and energy infrastructure. The Associated Press reported this week that the investigation found Russian government and military satellites observed target areas before and after 40 missile and drone attacks carried out by Houthi rebels against Saudi Arabia between July 1 and October 19. Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Rayed Krimly confirmed to reporters last week that the Houthis receive intelligence support from Russia and China.
