Polygon expands US banking access for foreign firms to Solana's $15B stablecoin market
Polygon has extended its Open Money Stack (OMS) to Solana, allowing eligible foreign businesses to access US banking rails in their own legal names without establishing a US entity. This service connects traditional banking with Solana's stablecoin infrastructure, enabling businesses to accept deposits, convert funds into stablecoins, and process payouts. Solana holds over $15 billion in stablecoins, making it the third-largest network. Access is subject to regulatory requirements, including know-your-business verification, geographic restrictions, and early-access limits.
