Blockchain analytics firm Elliptic reported that approximately $2.85 billion, or 44%, of the roughly $6.43 billion stolen from Binance has been frozen or seized. The firm added that the laundering of the stolen funds involved 11 blockchains, around 12,000 wallets, and over 40,000 transactions. Approximately $3.24 billion remains in linked addresses, with Tron being a major route. The attacker has also started using CoinJoin, and about $16 million was sent to addresses connected to the earlier Bitget hack.
