Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency reported that Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf stated Tehran has sent an "authoritative and rational response" to Washington, and now the "ball is in the US court" to prevent war. Qalibaf warned at a parliamentary session that any strategic mistake by Washington would force US forces into a new battlefield, adding that Iran is ready for battle with "fingers on the trigger."
