Majed Al-Ansari, spokesperson for Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated today at a press conference that Qatar is making every effort to bridge the differences in the conflict between the United States and Iran, and mentioned confidence-building measures that could help advance negotiations between the two sides. He revealed that a Qatari delegation recently visited Tehran and held three hours of talks. Al-Ansari emphasized that Qatar remains hopeful for a resolution to the conflict, but as a mediator, he did not disclose specific details of the progress.
