The Andersons is to acquire low-carbon ethanol producer Harvestone Low Carbon Partners for $915 million, a transaction that will expand the diversified agricultural company's renewable energy platform by more than 40%. The Andersons is acquiring Harvestone from Energy Capital Partners, which is the infrastructure investment platform of Bridgepoint Group, a UK mid-market private equity, credit, and infrastructure firm.
