CryptoSlate: Issuers object to 57 of the 63 initial ticker symbols planned for inclusion in OKXICE
According to CryptoSlate, out of the 63 stock tickers initially intended for inclusion on the OKXICE platform—a joint venture between OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange—the underlying assets of 57 have faced opposition from their issuers. The cumulative number of opposing companies has risen to 67, including Apple, NVIDIA, Microsoft, Amazon, Tesla, and Meta. The platform plans to have liquidity provided by external eligible participants, with neither the platform itself nor its affiliates providing liquidity. A launch date has not yet been announced.
