Tiger Brokers is shifting its business focus to Hong Kong to cope with tightening mainland regulations on cross-border stock trading. According to John Zeng, CFO of the group and CEO of its Hong Kong entity, user growth is currently driven primarily by local Hong Kong clients, with overall client growth remaining robust. The company stated it will acquire new clients in full compliance with regulations. Previously, Tiger Brokers was fined $61 million by mainland regulatory authorities earlier this year.
