Li Ka-shing's Stance on Bitcoin and Related Investment Review
Hong Kong's renowned entrepreneur Li Ka-shing has not directly invested in Bitcoin himself, but rather through his venture capital firm, Horizons Ventures, which has strategically invested in the Bitcoin and blockchain ecosystem. Public records show that as early as 2013, Horizons Ventures invested in the Bitcoin payment company BitPay. Subsequently, in 2014, it injected over HKD 100 million into the "Bitcoin terminal market," and in 2016, it invested in the blockchain technology company Blockstream. Li Ka-shing himself has repeatedly stated publicly that his investment style is conservative, believing that Bitcoin "definitely carries risks," and his investment activities primarily focus on supporting related technology companies.
