IOSTABC Browser and IOST Staking & Voting Overview
IOSTABC is the official browser for the IOST blockchain. It not only provides on-chain data query services but also serves as a crucial platform for IOST token holders to participate in network governance, support node partners, and earn staking rewards. In the IOST ecosystem, "voting" and "staking" are synonymous, meaning users lock their IOST tokens to support specific nodes, thereby collectively maintaining network security and operation.
IOST (Internet of Services Token) is a blockchain project focused on scalability, aiming to provide high-performance infrastructure for decentralized applications. Its core technologies include the "Proof-of-Believability (PoB)" consensus mechanism and "Efficient Distributed Sharding (EDS)" technology. The mainnet officially launched in February 2019.

Core Mechanisms and Vision of the IOST Blockchain
The IOST Foundation, established in 2017 and headquartered in Singapore, is dedicated to building a blockchain infrastructure with ultra-high transactions per second (TPS) to meet the dual demands of security and scalability for the decentralized economy. IOST's vision is to become the underlying infrastructure for global online service providers, disrupting traditional business models through decentralization, high throughput, and scalability, and maximizing network value for all participants. The project has received support from renowned investment institutions such as Sequoia Capital, Matrix Partners, and ZhenFund.
How to Participate in Staking & Voting via IOSTABC
Participating in staking and voting through the IOSTABC browser is one of the primary ways for IOST token holders to engage with the ecosystem and earn returns. Typically, users need to install a browser extension like iWallet to connect their IOST account.

1. IOST Account Creation
Participating in the IOST ecosystem first requires an IOST mainnet account. Account names must be 5 to 11 characters long, contain only numbers, letters, and underscores "_", and each account name must be unique. Users can create an account through the official IOST account website or wallet applications that support IOST, such as TokenPocket, BitKeep, or Citadel.
2. Voting (Staking) Rules
- Voting Ratio: 1 IOST token equals 1 vote.
- Voting Target: An account can vote for multiple node partners, and node partners can also vote for themselves.
- Token Status: Tokens already used for voting or staking to purchase network resources cannot be used for voting again.
- Redemption and Changes: Redeeming staked tokens or changing voting targets requires a 3-day freezing period. During this period, related staking rewards will cease to be generated.

3. Node Types and Requirements
Nodes in the IOST ecosystem are categorized into different types, each with distinct responsibilities:
- Candidate Node: Becomes a candidate node upon submitting a node application.
- Partner Node: Requires more than 2.1 million votes and must pass an audit by the IOST Foundation.
- Servi Node: Requires at least 10 million votes, must first become a Partner Node, and meet specific ecosystem contribution requirements.
Staking & Voting Reward Mechanism

IOST staking and voting participants can earn various forms of rewards, with an annualized yield typically between 10-15%.
- Node Reward Sharing: Voters typically share 50% of their chosen node partner's rewards (excluding block production rewards). Rewards are automatically generated daily based on voting share.
- Ecosystem Rewards: IOST has a 420 million IOST reward pool for ecosystem rewards and token issuance rewards. Ecosystem rewards are paid quarterly, based on the voter's voting share and the node's contribution to the ecosystem.
- Token Issuance Rewards: Also from the 420 million IOST reward pool, paid daily, based on the voter's voting share and the number of blocks produced by the node.
- Inflation Rewards: IOST's inflation rate is 2% per year. Additionally, there was an extra 2% ecosystem reward in the first year after the mainnet launch (this is historical information).
IOST Tokenomics and Market Overview
As of August 27, 2026, the price of the IOST token is approximately $0.00058, with a total market capitalization ranging from approximately $18.49 million to $21.09 million. Its circulating supply is about 34.76 billion to 35.4 billion IOST, with a maximum supply of 90 billion IOST. Please note that these figures are subject to market fluctuations and are for reference only.

How to Acquire IOST Tokens
IOST tokens can be traded on several major cryptocurrency exchanges. Currently, users can purchase IOST on platforms such as Binance, OKX, Upbit, Bithumb, MEXC, and Bitget. Before conducting any transactions, please verify the platform's compliance and security, and understand the relevant trading rules.
