DeepBrain Chain (DBC) Project Positioning and Core Vision
DeepBrain Chain (DBC) is a pioneering decentralized AI computing platform whose core objective is to leverage blockchain technology to build the world’s first decentralized AI infrastructure. The platform aims to provide the AI sector with low-cost, high-concurrency, low-latency, privacy-protected, and elastically scalable underlying public blockchain services.DBC is compatible with the EVM smart contract standard, allowing AI models to run in a decentralized environment, ensuring they never go offline, and is committed to becoming the cornerstone of computing power in the 5G+AI era.
Technical Highlights and Ecosystem
The DeepBrain Chain ecosystem revolves around its core technology and supports a variety of decentralized AI applications:

- DBC 2.0 AI Ecosystem: Any AI project can develop decentralized AI applications based on DBC 2.0, issue tokens, and enable the permanent decentralized operation of AI models.
- DeepLink Protocol: A decentralized AI cloud gaming protocol that combines AI and blockchain technology to provide an ultra-low-latency game rendering experience.
- DecentralGPT: A decentralized large language model (LLM) AI inference network that supports multiple open-source large language models and is dedicated to building a secure, privacy-protected, democratic, transparent, open-source, and universally accessible general artificial intelligence (AGI).
- SuperImage: A text-to-image diffusion model used to generate photorealistic images.
- DRCpad: The first primary market for AI node trading, a platform focused on node trading on the DBC AI public chain.
- XAIAgent: A decentralized AI agent platform on the DBC chain that provides services for creating, operating, and trading AI agents.
In terms of technical advantages, the DBC Network features high TPS (one block every 6 seconds, supporting over 1,000 TPS) and extremely low gas fees (as low as 0.001 DBC), and it is open-source and permissionless.
Development History and Milestones
Since its launch in 2017, DeepBrain Chain has achieved a series of significant milestones:
- 2017: The project officially launched.
- 2018: Fundraising was completed, and the token was listed on exchanges; on January 9 of the same year, the DBC token reached an all-time high of $0.66.
- 2021: The DBC 1.0 GPU distributed computing power network mainnet officially launched.
- 2023: Co-founded the Metaverse and Web3 Alliance with Huawei and Polygon; the world’s first ZestCloud cloud internet café, based on DBC and DeepLink technology, began trial operations in Seoul, South Korea; the world’s first TIKEREN cloud gaming console debuted in Tokyo, Japan.
- First Quarter of 2024: Developed a GPU short-term rental model and launched new features on the mainnet.
- August 2024: The DBC 2.0 AI public chain testnet went live.
- Third Quarter of 2024 (Planned): Plans to support decentralized AIGC projects in developing smart contracts based on DBC and using DBC GPUs for mining.
- First Quarter of 2025 (Planned): The health monitoring cluster will fully support registration and cancellation for the short-term rental model, as well as on-chain contract integration.
In addition, DeepBrain Chain remains actively engaged in industry events, such as Token2049 in Singapore and Web X in Japan, to drive the development of its ecosystem and expand its market influence.

DBC Token Economic Model
DBC is the native token of the DeepBrain Chain network and serves the following core functions:
- Payment: Used to pay GPU rental fees.
- Staking: Miners must stake DBC to provide GPU computing power; typically, 100,000 DBC or the equivalent of $800 in DBC is required per graphics card.
- Governance: Holders can participate in community governance by voting through the DBC Council—a community-elected DAO—on treasury fund management, ecosystem application support, and community development.
The total supply of DBC tokens is fixed at 10 billion, and it is expected to be fully issued over approximately 100 years. Its economic model includes a deflationary mechanism: 5% of the GPU rental fees paid by users will be permanently burned, with the remainder paid to computing power providers. This means that the greater the ecosystem’s usage, the more DBC will be burned, which theoretically enhances the token’s scarcity.
Market Performance and On-Chain Data
As of August 31, 2026, DBC’s circulating supply ranged from approximately 3.2 billion to 5.43 billion DBC (data varies by source; please refer to the latest publicly available data). Its market capitalization ranges from approximately $144,000 to $346,000 (data varies by source; please refer to the latest publicly available data), ranking between approximately 2,447th and 4,821st in the cryptocurrency market (data varies by source; please refer to the latest publicly available data).DBC’s all-time high was $0.66 on January 9, 2018; the current price is significantly below this all-time high.

According to on-chain data as of September 30, 2025:
- The number of GPUs in the mainnet has reached 89.
- Five mining pools are participating, with a total hashrate of 44,371.94.
- The total amount of DBC staked by GPUs is 4,288,470 DBC.
- The GPU utilization rate is 88.76%.
- Cumulative rental revenue is 3,961,155,039 DBC.
- Total rental burn amounts to 182,906,343 DBC.
Team, Governance, and Partners
DeepBrain Chain is led by an experienced team, including He Yong, Chairman and CEO of the Foundation; Wang Dongyan, Chief AI Officer; Brain Xu, Chief Data Scientist; and Jason Pai, Senior Product Specialist. The project’s governance structure is jointly driven by the DBC Foundation and the DBC Council, with the Council electing 21 members every four months through a DAO.
DeepBrain Chain has established partnerships with several well-known organizations, including Huawei, Polygon, Google Cloud (integration), HYCONS CLOUD, Microsoft, Samsung, Siemens, and Lenovo. Investors include IDG Capital, the Korea Development Bank, L&S Venture Capital, Moniq Ventures, and Posco Investment.
Future Outlook

The future prospects of DeepBrain Chain are closely tied to the rapid development of the artificial intelligence industry. As a decentralized AI computing platform, DBC is committed to addressing pain points in the AI sector, such as high computing costs, inefficiency, and insufficient privacy protection. With the continued growth of sectors such as AI, Web3, the metaverse, and cloud gaming, the demand for distributed, high-performance computing power is expected to rise steadily. Through its technological advantages, deflationary token model, and expanding ecosystem, DBC aims to secure a significant position in this emerging market and become the key infrastructure connecting global computing power.
How to Obtain DBC Tokens
