Introduction to Mask Network (MASK)
Mask Network is a Web3 protocol dedicated to bridging the gap between Web 2.0 and Web 3.0. It allows users to send encrypted messages, transfer cryptocurrency, display NFTs, and interact with decentralized applications (dApps) on traditional social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.MASK is the native governance token of the Mask Network ecosystem, and holders can participate in important project decisions through voting.
The project was initially launched in July 2019 under the name “Maskbook,” and the MASK governance token was officially introduced in February 2021.

How to Buy and Trade MASK Tokens
MASK tokens are primarily bought and sold through centralized cryptocurrency exchanges (CEX) or decentralized exchanges (DEX). Here are the specific procedures and considerations:
Buying/Selling via Centralized Exchanges (CEX)
- Select an exchange and register: Choose a centralized exchange that supports MASK trading, such as Binance, Coinbase, Bybit, etc. Complete the account registration and identity verification (KYC) process, which typically requires providing an email address, phone number, and proof of identity.
- Deposit Funds: Fund your exchange account via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or by using other cryptocurrencies (such as USDT or BTC).
- Buy MASK: Search for “MASK” in the exchange’s spot trading section, select the appropriate trading pair (e.g., MASK/USDT), then enter the quantity or amount you wish to purchase to complete the transaction.
- Secure Storage: After purchasing, you can choose to keep your MASK tokens in your exchange account or withdraw them to a personal cryptocurrency wallet (such as MetaMask or a hardware wallet) to enhance the security of your assets.
- Selling MASK: The selling process is similar to buying. In the spot trading section, select “Sell” MASK to exchange it for stablecoins or fiat currency, then withdraw the funds to your bank account or a designated platform.
Buying via a Decentralized Exchange (DEX)

As an ERC-20 token, MASK can be traded on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) on the Ethereum network. Users typically need a compatible Web3 wallet (such as MetaMask) to connect to a DEX.
- Set Up a Web3 Wallet: Ensure your MetaMask wallet is installed and configured, and that it contains sufficient Ether (ETH) to cover transaction gas fees, as well as stablecoins or other cryptocurrencies for the exchange.
- Connect to a DEX: Visit a DEX platform that supports MASK trading (such as Uniswap or SushiSwap) and connect your MetaMask wallet to the DEX.
- Exchange for MASK: On the DEX interface, select the token you want to exchange (such as USDT) and the target token (MASK), enter the exchange amount, review the transaction details and gas fees, and then approve the transaction.
Buy Directly Through MetaMask
Some Web3 wallets, such as MetaMask, also offer the ability to purchase cryptocurrencies directly. Users can buy MASK directly within the MetaMask wallet interface using various payment methods, such as debit cards, credit cards, or bank transfers, and the purchased tokens will be deposited directly into your wallet.
