Trust Wallet is committed to promoting Web3 education
As one of the world’s leading self-custody Web3 wallets, Trust Wallet has over 130 million users (other sources cite over 200 million) and supports more than 10 million digital assets across over 120 blockchains. To address the growing complexity of Web3 technology and lower the learning curve for both new and existing users, Trust Wallet is actively launching a number of blockchain education initiatives designed to enhance users’ Web3 financial literacy and technical understanding through innovative methods.

The “Trust Wallet Quests” Platform: A New Paradigm for Gamified Learning
On August 7, 2024, Trust Wallet officially launched its on-chain mission platform—“Trust Wallet Quests.” The platform’s core concept is to gamify the Web3 learning process, enabling users to gain a deep practical understanding of blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps) through interactive missions and challenges.

- Interactive Challenges: The Quests platform offers a series of quizzes, complex problem-solving scenarios, and various DeFi and Web3 activities, encouraging users to participate firsthand and master practical skills.
- “Trust Points” Rewards: Users earn “Trust Points” upon successfully completing tasks. This loyalty-based points system is designed to reward user activity within the Trust Wallet mobile app and make the Web3 learning process more engaging. In the future, these points will also be used to unlock additional gamified features such as achievements, badges, and levels.
Eowyn Chen, CEO of Trust Wallet, stated that complex technology and a rapidly evolving industry can be intimidating for both new and existing users. The launch of “Quests” aims to make it easier for millions of users to navigate Web3 and is committed to building a seamless Web3 hub and open ecosystem. She emphasized that this is an excellent way to nurture and empower an active, loyal community in the true spirit of Web3 collaboration.
Partnership with Harvard University: Deepening Web3 Financial Literacy

While promoting gamified learning, Trust Wallet is also actively partnering with leading traditional institutions to enhance the depth and breadth of Web3 education. On August 19, 2026, Trust Wallet announced a partnership with Harvard University to jointly launch a Web3 financial literacy course.
- Course Content: Through hands-on workshops, DeFi masterclasses, and self-custody training, the course will teach students the fundamentals of Web3 security, smart asset management, and self-custody.
- Educational Objectives: This partnership aims to provide students with hands-on knowledge in the Web3 space, helping them better understand and navigate the world of decentralized finance.

Ongoing Educational Resources and Future Outlook
In addition to these innovative initiatives, Trust Wallet’s Academy and official blog continue to provide a wealth of educational content covering topics such as how cryptocurrencies work, Trust Wallet user guides, DeFi, NFTs, and Web3 security, offering users comprehensive learning resources.

Product Lead Nate Zou noted that Trust Points and Quests are just the first step in the rewards system; the company plans to integrate rewards with more Web3 products throughout 2024 and envisions that this points system will foster collaboration among Trust Wallet, its users, and other Web3 ecosystem participants. These educational initiatives not only promote individual learning but also contribute to broader community education and the adoption of decentralized technologies. They aim to make the Web3 world more accessible and user-friendly, addressing the steep learning curve many users face when navigating blockchain technology.
