Bezant (BZNT) is a cryptocurrency issued on the Ethereum platform (according to the ERC-20 standard), first announced in April 2018. The project's core vision is to build a decentralized payment protocol aimed at providing content creators and online merchants worldwide with an efficient, low-cost platform to establish online stores and receive international payments. The BZNT token is designed as the native cryptocurrency and medium of exchange within the Bezant platform, for example, users can use BZNT on the Jehmi platform to make purchases and access global content.
The Bezant project claims its advantage lies in eliminating the high store fees of traditional platforms (e.g., up to 30%) and providing merchants with instant peer-to-peer (P2P) payment solutions. Its blockchain platform consists of a blockchain layer and a service platform layer, designed to provide Service Partners (SPs) with a dynamic, blockchain-based payment infrastructure to create new services.
Core Team and Early Development
The early team members of the Bezant project included individuals with backgrounds in technology and cryptocurrency. For example, Steve Tay was the representative director of Bezant Foundation Limited (located in Singapore, responsible for initial project funding). Core team members also included Daesik Kim, founder and former CEO of Bithumb (a well-known cryptocurrency exchange), who was responsible for cryptocurrency product development and applications. Additionally, Mark Yu was a Senior Product Manager at Kakao Corp., and Colin Lee was the Business Development Director at Kakao Corp. and Kakao Pay. In its early stages, the project also established partnerships with institutions such as Bibox Token, Bithumb, and Blockwater Capital.
In its Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in May 2018, the Bezant project successfully raised $27.5 million at a price of $0.10 per BZNT. Its all-time high price reached $0.27739 on May 11, 2018.
Market Performance and Current Status
Despite Bezant project's ambitious vision and strong team background in its early stages, according to today's market data, the market activity of BZNT tokens has almost stalled. As of September 25, 2026, BZNT's 24-hour trading volume is displayed as $0.00, indicating virtually no active buying or selling on the market. Circulating supply has also fluctuated at different times, but in the absence of active trading, this data has limited reference value for assessing its market worth.
Given the current extremely low trading activity of BZNT tokens, inconsistent market data, and warnings from multiple information sources about its "inactive" status, the token no longer has an active trading market and holds no investment value.
