What is CHFT?
CHFT, short for "Crypto Holding Frank Token," is a cryptocurrency issued by Crypto Holding Ltd. in 2019. It is based on the Ethereum platform and complies with the ERC-20 token standard. CHFT's core positioning is as a stablecoin, designed to maintain a 1:1 value peg with the Swiss Franc (CHF), one of the globally recognized safe-haven currencies. The project aims to promote the broader application and acceptance of digital currencies by leveraging the stability of the Swiss Franc.
CHFT Coin's Operational Mechanism and Transparency Commitment

According to the project design, CHFT's issuance and burn mechanism are linked to Swiss Franc reserves. Specifically, 1 CHFT token is issued whenever fiat currency or cryptocurrency equivalent to 1 Swiss Franc is deposited with a third-party custodian designated by Crypto Holding. Conversely, when equivalent funds are withdrawn, the corresponding 1 CHFT token is burned. This mechanism aims to ensure a balance between CHFT's circulating supply and actual reserves, thereby maintaining its price stability.
To enhance trust and transparency, Crypto Holding previously stated plans to collaborate with public accounting firms for reserve audits and with third-party security audit organizations to ensure the quality and security of the smart contract code. The Swiss company Smart Valor also participated in discussions on Swiss Franc tokenization in 2018, where CHFt was mentioned.
CHFT's Market Status and Challenges
Despite CHFT's vision of being pegged to the Swiss Franc, its current market performance and data reflect severe challenges faced by the project. As of October 16, 2026, CHFT's public trading data is extremely inactive, with most market platforms showing its 24-hour trading volume as zero or "N/A." The few reported trading volumes are only in the thousands of US dollars, which indicates very limited liquidity for an asset aiming to be a stablecoin. For instance, relevant developments can be followed in Svmuu's ongoing reports.

Furthermore, CHFT's market capitalization is often displayed as $0 or "N/A," primarily because its circulating supply is marked as "unverified" or reported as 0 by data platforms like CoinMarketCap. This means the market lacks confirmation of its true circulation and cannot accurately assess its overall value. Historical data shows that CHFT's price has significantly deviated from its peg target, for example, DEXTools displayed its price as $1.239 on August 5, 2025, far exceeding the value of the Swiss Franc, which further highlights issues with its price stability and data reliability.
In summary, while the CHFT project proposed the concept of a Swiss Franc-pegged stablecoin, its current trading activity is low, market data is opaque and contradictory, and circulating supply is unverified. These factors indicate that the project has not effectively achieved its initial goal as a stablecoin and lacks a reliable active trading market.
