What is RENZEC (renZEC)?
RENZEC, also known as renZEC, is a token issued by the cross-chain protocol Ren Protocol. It is a Wrapped Asset, representing the privacy coin Zcash (ZEC) on EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) compatible blockchains like Ethereum. Users lock native ZEC on the original chain via Ren Protocol to mint an equivalent amount of renZEC on Ethereum, thereby utilizing Zcash's liquidity within the DeFi ecosystem.
Market Status and Data
According to recent market data, RENZEC's trading activity is extremely low. Multiple data sources indicate its 24-hour trading volume is only a few dollars. At the same time, the circulating supply is shown as 0, resulting in a market capitalization of 0. This may be related to the migration of its utility as a cross-bridge tool or a shift in market interest.
Its price history shows that RENZEC reached an all-time high of approximately $1421 in November 2021. However, the price has since fallen sharply, with recent prices experiencing significant volatility and lacking effective trading support.

Trading Channels and Considerations
Given the market conditions described above, the RENZEC token no longer has an active trading market. Although historical data once mentioned platforms like Binance and Coinbase, the current trading market for this token has almost dried up, lacking effective transactions. For investors, there are currently no reliable, liquid trading channels.
The Ren Protocol project itself (renproject.io) is still operating and maintaining its cross-chain bridge infrastructure, but renZEC, as one of its early supported assets, has seen significantly reduced market attention.
