HMNG Coin: Hummingbird Finance Project Overview
HMNG Coin, full name Hummingbird Finance, is also known as Hummingbird Coin in Chinese. The project was initially positioned as a fork of SHIB and RFI, aiming to provide a superior user experience through improved tokenomics. In May 2021, the project proposed raising awareness for hummingbird conservation through its tokenomics.
Notably, there are two versions in the market: "Hummingbird Finance" and "Hummingbird Finance (New)". The latter primarily focuses on rewarding holders with USDT and operates on the BNB Chain, building a decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem.
Tokenomics and Mechanism

HMNG Coin's tokenomics are designed to distribute rewards to holders and achieve token burn through a transaction tax mechanism. Specifically:
- Old/General Mechanism: A 3% tax is levied on all transactions, with 1.5% allocated for burning and the remaining 1.5% automatically distributed to token holders, without requiring additional staking.
- New Mechanism (USDT Rewards): The new version of HMNG token, operating on the BNB Chain, also has a total tax of 3%, but its distribution differs. 1% is used for liquidity provision, 1% for marketing, and the remaining 1% is rewarded to token holders in the form of USDT Bep20.
The maximum supply of HMNG is 100 trillion tokens.
Current Market Status and Risk Assessment
As of October 20, 2026, HMNG Coin's market performance and trading activity show significant signs of stagnation. CoinGecko has explicitly stated that HMNG token trading has ceased and will update information if market activity resumes. Multiple mainstream data platforms, including Bitget and CoinMarketCap, show that HMNG's price is not updated or has stopped updating, with 24-hour trading volumes being zero or extremely low.
For example, HummingBird Finance (HMNG) shows a 24-hour trading volume of "N/A" or approximately $13.12, while Hummingbird Finance (New) has a 24-hour trading volume of approximately $1,404.27. Its market capitalization is also extremely low; for instance, Hummingbird Finance (HMNG) has a market cap of approximately $32,657.00, with most platforms showing insufficient or zero market cap data.

In September 2026, Bitget noted that the HMNG price had fallen 100.00% from its all-time high, listing it as a high-risk coin and warning of significant uncertainty regarding future price rebounds. While early community promotions (May 2021) once touted its potential as a "millionaire maker" and reached a market valuation of approximately $12 million, these are now historical data.
Given the current extremely low trading activity, nearly stagnant market trading, and the substantial price drop from its all-time high, the token's trading market is almost depleted, lacking effective transactions. Investors considering such assets should be fully aware of their high-risk nature.
