Between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. local time on the 2nd, several direct flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and other Chinese cities landed at Istanbul Airport. With Turkey’s visa-free entry policy for Chinese citizens holding ordinary passports taking effect that day, the first group of Chinese travelers to benefit from this measure entered Turkey with ease.
