On January 4, 2026, Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held the seventh China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue in Beijing with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dar. Wang Yi said that the current international situation is increasingly complex and turbulent, with unilateral bullying becoming more and more rampant. The sudden changes in the situation in Venezuela have drawn high attention from the international community, and the spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already stated China’s position.
