Wang Yi Holds China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue with Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar
On January 4, 2026, Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held the seventh China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue in Beijing with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dar. Wang Yi said that the current international situation is increasingly complex and turbulent, with unilateral bullying becoming more and more rampant. The sudden changes in the situation in Venezuela have drawn high attention from the international community, and the spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already stated China’s position. We have never believed that any country can act as the world’s policeman, nor do we accept that any country can claim to be the world’s judge. The sovereignty and security of all countries should be fully protected under international law. We have consistently opposed the use or threat of force in international relations, and we oppose imposing the will of one country on another. China is willing to work with the international community, including Pakistan, to resolutely uphold the United Nations Charter, adhere to the bottom line of international morality, uphold the sovereign equality of all nations, jointly safeguard world peace and development, and jointly promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
