Recently, Gree Electric Appliances has received inquiries from investors and the media regarding issues such as price hikes for air conditioners and “replacing copper with aluminum” plans introduced by some companies, asking for the company’s stance and plans. Gree Electric Appliances stated that it is actively responding to the 2026 national subsidy policy for home appliances, passing on tangible benefits to consumers, and pledges that prices for Gree residential air conditioners will not increase. At the same time, to meet the standards of Gree’s 10-year free warranty service for household air conditioners, Gree currently has no plans to implement “aluminum-for-copper” replacements. In the future, if relevant research fully meets Gree’s quality and technical standards and is formally adopted, Gree will clearly label such products to fully safeguard consumers’ right to know and right to choose.
