On January 5, Opcon Vision announced that it had recently received a "Drug Manufacturing License" for eye drops issued by the Anhui Provincial Drug Administration. This marks the first time the company has obtained a "Drug Manufacturing License." The company must still complete regulatory procedures, including registration applications for products under development, on-site inspections, and GMP compliance audits, and obtain a "Drug Registration Certificate" before it can commence commercial production and sales. The acquisition of the "Drug Manufacturing License" will not have a material impact on the company’s operating performance in the short term.
