Today, Beijing released a "Nine-Point Action Plan" to accelerate the development of a global hub for artificial intelligence innovation. According to the plan, Beijing will focus on nine key areas—including fostering technological innovation, enabling widespread application, and achieving comprehensive advancements in embodied intelligence—to establish a number of national AI application pilot bases in sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, and education; construct humanoid robot pilot platforms and smart factories; designate Haidian, Chaoyang, Shijingshan, and the Economic and Technological Development Zone as the first batch of innovation districts; establish the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization National AI Application Cooperation Center; and foster a 100-billion-yuan embodied intelligence industrial cluster through coordinated efforts across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Over the next two years, the city aims to build a 100,000-card-scale domestic intelligent computing cluster, implement more than 100 AI benchmark applications, attract over 200 billion yuan in various industrial investment funds, and expand the core AI industry to exceed one trillion yuan in scale.
