Following the raid on Venezuela at Donald Trump, European officials have rushed to express their support for the island as it has revived its plan to seize Greenland.British Prime Minister Stamer stated, “I support the Danish Prime Minister; she is right on the issue of Greenland’s future.” He added that Greenland’s future should be determined by Denmark and Greenland themselves. There is currently widespread speculation that the U.S. may apply the same tactics used against Venezuela to Greenland. Donald Trump I also made this connection clear on Sunday, stating that after overthrowing Venezuelan President Maduro and taking control of that South American nation, Greenland could become the next target. France quickly reaffirmed its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Denmark and Greenland. Officials from the German Foreign Ministry expressed the same view.
