U.S. President Donald Trump stated: “For a long time, homeownership has been seen as the pinnacle of the American Dream. It is a reward for hard work and staying on the straight and narrow. But now, due to record-high inflation caused by Biden and Democrats in Congress, the American Dream is becoming increasingly out of reach for too many people, especially young Americans.For this reason, and many others, I will take immediate action to prohibit large institutional investors from purchasing more single-family homes, and I will call on Congress to enact legislation to this effect.
