Lei Jun: Xuanjie O1 Wins Xiaomi’s 10 Million Yuan Technology Award; Plans 200 Billion Yuan in R&D Investment Over the Next Five Years
On January 8, Lei Jun, founder, chairman, and CEO of Xiaomi, posted that the company had awarded a 10-million-yuan technology prize, with the Xuanjie O1 team taking home the top prize. Lei Jun noted that over the past five years, the company had committed to investing 100 billion yuan in R&D, with actual spending reaching approximately 105 billion yuan. The company plans to invest 200 billion yuan in R&D over the next five years.
