The China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) has revoked or suspended the qualifications of three laboratories to conduct designated testing for certain mandatory product certifications.
In 2025, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA) organized and carried out “double-random, public-disclosure” inspections of certification service providers. The inspections revealed that three laboratories—Shenzhen Global Testing Service Co., Ltd., Fangyuan Testing and Certification Group Co., Ltd., and Wuhan Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute (National Wire and Cable Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center (Wuhan))—no longer meet the designated testing requirements for Compulsory Product Certification (CCC) in certain fields. In accordance with the "Administrative Measures for Compulsory Product Certification Bodies and Laboratories," it has been decided to revoke or suspend the CCC designated testing qualifications of the aforementioned laboratories in certain fields, effective immediately.
