JPMorgan Chase: ETF Outflows Slow; Crypto Market Sell-off May Be Nearing a Bottom
Svmuu News JPMorgan Chase A recent report indicates that the recent sell-off in the cryptocurrency market may be nearing its end. Analyst Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou noted that outflows from the Bitcoin, and Ethereum ETFs began to stabilize in January, and positioning indicators in the futures market also suggest that investors have largely completed their position reductions for the end of 2025.The firm believes market liquidity remains strong and that this correction was primarily driven by risk-off sentiment triggered by MSCI’s October announcement regarding the potential exclusion of crypto-related companies, rather than market pressure.MSCI’s recent decision to temporarily not exclude crypto-related companies from its global index review in February 2026 has provided short-term relief to the market and reduced the risk of forced selling associated with index changes.
