In addition, the platform has launched 100 perpetual contracts, with 199 currently available for trading. Coinbase Markets stated that 2025 marked a significant turning point for Coinbase derivatives, with the introduction of 24/7 trading.In June, open interest in perpetual futures surpassed $1 billion, and in October, the platform’s total open interest in perpetual and futures contracts peaked at $4.8 billion.
