VanEck: Under a "hyper-Bitcoin" scenario, Bitcoin could rise to approximately $53.4 million by 2050
Svmuu News: Global asset management firm VanEck has issued an extremely bullish forecast in its latest long-term capital markets outlook, suggesting that under a "Hyper-Bitcoin" scenario, the price of Bitcoin could rise to approximately $53.4 million by 2050.This scenario assumes that Bitcoin will maintain a compound annual growth rate of approximately 29% over the next 25 years and become a significant settlement and reserve asset on a global scale.VanEck’s analysis indicates that if Bitcoin were to account for approximately 20% of international trade settlements and 10% of domestic GDP settlements, its implied value per coin would reach the aforementioned level, and it could account for nearly 30% of global financial assets, holding a status comparable to or even surpassing that of gold.Under a more conservative baseline scenario, VanEck projects that Bitcoin will grow at a CAGR of approximately 15%, with a price of about $2.9 million by 2050; under a bearish scenario, the CAGR would be only about 2%, corresponding to a price of approximately $130,000.
