Former New York City Mayor Eric Adams launched the NYC Token, which surged shortly after its debut before falling back
Svmuu News: Former New York City Mayor Eric Adams has launched a cryptocurrency called NYC Token. The project was co-founded by Eric Adams and two others, with the aim of using revenue generated by the token to fund nonprofit organizations fighting anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism. Adams stated that the token will also be used to educate students on blockchain technology. Adams is currently not drawing a salary and has said that if he does receive one in the future, it will be made public. Currently, the project’s website displays only a slogan and a link to its X account. Current New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has stated that he will not purchase the token.
