Donald Trump: Although Jerome Powell is currently under investigation, there are no plans to fire him at this time.
Svmuu News: U.S. President Donald Trump said Wednesday that although the Department of Justice is conducting a criminal investigation into Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, he currently has no plans to fire him, and that it is “too early” to determine what action he will ultimately take. When asked if he would attempt to remove Jerome Powell from his position, Donald Trump told Reuters: ““I have no such plans at this time.” When asked if the investigation gave him grounds to take action, Donald Trump added: “For now, we are taking a wait-and-see approach with him, and we are considering how to proceed next. But I cannot disclose details. It is still too early.” (Jin Shi)
