According to data from a special survey conducted by integrated telecommunications operators and the Shanxi Provincial Tourism Big Data Joint Laboratory, during the 2026 Spring Festival holiday, the province received a total of 35.2636 million domestic tourist visits, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.45% on a comparable basis; Total tourism spending reached 40.892 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.5% on a comparable basis. The province’s 80 key monitored scenic spots collectively received 11.0668 million visitors, a year-on-year increase of 33.83%; cumulative ticket revenue amounted to 274 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 38.83%.
