Zhejiang Province Sets New Record for Total Visitor Numbers During the 2026 Spring Festival
“During the 2026 Spring Festival holiday, Zhejiang Province welcomed a total of 46.043 million tourist visits, a year-on-year increase of 24.7%; comprehensive tourism revenue reached 67.95 billion yuan, up 26.5% year-on-year; per-visitor spending reached 1,475.8 yuan, a 1.4% increase year-on-year, setting a new high for the same period since the holiday tourism sample survey began in 2021.” Yesterday, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism released an analysis report on tourism economic data for the 2026 Spring Festival holiday. Data shows that the province’s 236 4A-rated and higher scenic spots received a cumulative total of 30.416 million visitors, a year-on-year increase of 24.8%. The West Lake Scenic Area, Nanxi River Scenic Area, and Taizhou Fucheng Cultural Tourism Area ranked first, second, and third in terms of average daily visitor numbers. A total of 13.512 million visitors were recorded at 58 provincial-level and higher tourist resorts, a 20% increase year-on-year. The 49 provincial-level and higher nighttime cultural and tourism consumption clusters attracted 12.546 million visitors, a 23.6% increase year-on-year. (Shangguang News)
