Recently, the Ministry of Water Resources issued the "Opinions on Strengthening the Implementation of Water Conservation as a Priority in Water-Receiving Areas of Major Water Diversion Projects," stating that by 2030, water consumption per 10,000 yuan of regional GDP, water consumption per 10,000 yuan of industrial value added, and the effective utilization coefficient of water for farmland irrigation in water-receiving areas will exceed the national average for comparable regions; By 2035, the systems for total water resource management and comprehensive water conservation in water-receiving areas will be further improved, and the efficiency of water conservation and intensive use will reach advanced domestic levels.
