Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs: A comprehensive mechanism will be established to prevent relapse into poverty and the onset of poverty on a routine basis
Han Jun, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, stated that the next step will be to establish a coordinated, routine mechanism to prevent relapse into poverty. Routine assistance will be integrated into the rural revitalization strategy for coordinated implementation. Through robust and effective development-oriented assistance, we will strengthen endogenous development momentum; through a sound and comprehensive social security system, we will safeguard the basic livelihood of the people; and ensure that large-scale relapses into poverty are prevented in the long term. Every effort will be made to expand employment opportunities for the labor force that has been lifted out of poverty, improve the stability and quality of employment, and promote prosperity through hard work.
