Svmuu News: Wired reporter Kate Knibbs posted on X stating that OpenAI has fired an employee suspected of using the company’s confidential information to profit on prediction market platforms such as Polymarket. Fidji Simo, CEO of OpenAI’s Applications division, disclosed the termination in an internal memo to employees earlier this year, but did not reveal the employee’s name or specific details of the transactions.
