The two sides exchanged views on topics of mutual interest, including the current macroeconomic situation, deepening the connectivity between the Mainland and Hong Kong financial markets, strengthening the development of Hong Kong's offshore renminbi market, consolidating and enhancing Hong Kong's status as an international financial center, and continuously promoting high-level opening-up in the financial sector.
