xAI Plans to Launch Computer Control Agent, Musk Confirms Imminent Release
Svmuu News X platform users discovered a feature switch named enable_grok_computer in the Grok web client source code, suggesting that xAI is preparing to launch a computer control agent, which is equivalent to a "preview version" of the previously announced Macrohard project. Regarding this, Musk confirmed by posting "Coming out soon" when forwarding the related post. Macrohard is an AI automation system jointly developed by Tesla and xAI, using Grok as the high-level reasoning engine, paired with AI agents to process screen visuals and keyboard/mouse operations in real-time. Previous reports indicated that the project's data collection work was paused last month.
