Svmuu News Robinhood has announced a new stock repurchase plan, authorizing the company to buy back up to $1.5 billion worth of its shares. After more than tripling last year, Robinhood's stock price has fallen 39% since the beginning of 2026. Robinhood's Chief Financial Officer Shiv Verma stated that this authorization reflects the management team and board's confidence in the company's ability to continue providing innovative products for customers, creating value for shareholders, and gradually returning capital. Verma assumed the role of CFO in February this year. The repurchase plan has no expiration date and is expected to be executed over approximately three years.
