Svmuu News: Japan's Financial Services Agency has released the "Policy on Strengthening Cybersecurity for Cryptocurrency Asset Exchange Operators and Other Businesses," with the core objective of protecting investor assets. It proposes a three-tier security protection system of "self-help, mutual aid, and public aid," corresponding to collaborative protection by the businesses themselves, self-regulatory organizations, and regulatory authorities, respectively.
The policy points out that besides the leakage of signature keys such as seed phrases, risks from complex attack methods like social engineering attacks and breaches of outsourcing service providers are rising, calling for an enhancement of overall defense capabilities. Simultaneously, Japan plans to incorporate crypto-related scenarios into the "Delta Wall" cross-industry cybersecurity drills to strengthen the industry's emergency response capabilities. (CoinPost)
